Job Description

JOB TITLE: Advanced Composite Technician II - Weekend Days
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Manufacture composite aircraft parts in accordance with manufacturing specifications

  • Demonstrate required manufacturing competencies as evaluated through performance review programs

  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, sketches, lofts, and operation sheets to determine process sequence

  • Use precision measuring tools including 6" scales, micrometers, and dial calipers

  • Inspect completed work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to quality inspection

  • Maintain accurate logs and production records (MIR sheets, DMTs, PCOs, DR/DI documentation, etc.)

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow FOD, 5S, and safety program requirements

  • Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 2 years of related composite manufacturing experience

  • Ability to work with composite resins and composite materials

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

  • Ability to read and use a 6-inch scale

  • Basic computer skills

  • Must be able to work any shift as required

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
