Job Description

JOB TITLE: Advanced Composite Technician I
LOCATION: Tulsa, OK
PAY RATE: $21.21/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Perform composite part manufacturing tasks—including lay-up, cutting, bagging, autoclave, trimming, and repair—in a production environment.

  • Manufacture composite aircraft parts to meet specifications in a team-oriented environment.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Manufacturing Competencies during Employee Effectiveness Review.

  • Read work orders, blueprints, sketches, lofts, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations.

  • Use special tools and precision measuring devices (6" scale, 1" micrometer, 6" dial caliper).

  • Inspect work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to final inspection.

  • Maintain logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, DR/DI).

  • Keep work area clean and organized; support FOD and 5S programs and comply with safety regulations.

  • Participate in Lean initiatives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 1+ year of composite manufacturing experience

  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position

  • Must be able to work any shift

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to work with composite resins and materials

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including 6" scale

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
