JOB TITLE: A&P Quality Inspector
LOCATION: Jacksonville, FL
PAY RATE: $37.00/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

Summary: 

  • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements and provides objective evidence of results.

  • Performs auditing, surveillance, and monitoring of product quality and processes.

  • Identifies and documents discrepancies in materials, parts, or assemblies.

  • Segregates and controls non-conforming items per quality procedures.

  • Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance for defective items.

  • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification activities.

  • Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

  • Uses precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances against design requirements.

  • Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications for quality verification.

  • Uses computer skills for documentation, report generation, and communication.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance Required to Start.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • A&P License required (must be validated prior to submittal).

  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications.

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Experience performing product conformance verification and quality inspections.

  • Experience documenting discrepancies and non-conformances.

  • Experience with preliminary disposition of non-conforming items.

  • Experience conducting product reviews and audits.
