JOB TITLE: A&P Mechanic
LOCATION: 
Kansas City, MO
PAY RATE: $25-40/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (6-12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary: 

  • Maintain aircraft, components, and systems per specifications and FAA regulations

  • Inspect and certify aircraft maintenance according to regulations

  • Troubleshoot system and component malfunctions; perform necessary maintenance or re-work using tools and diagnostic devices

  • Remove and replace defective components; disassemble aircraft and components (teardown)

  • Perform preflight and postflight inspections and servicing as assigned

  • Maintain and service Ground Support Equipment as needed

  • Keep accurate documentation — logbooks, 8130’s, and historical data

  • Clean and maintain aircraft interiors and exteriors

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 3+ years hands-on airframe and powerplant experience

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
