JOB TITLE: Numerical Control Programmer 4

LOCATION: Everett, WA

PAY RATE: $ 75.00/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) as defined under ITAR regulations?

  • Do you have 7+ years of NC programming experience, including 5-axis CNC machining?

  • Are you proficient with CATIA V5 and Vericut?

  • Can you read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation?

  • Are you available to work a 2nd shift schedule?

  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary:

  • Create and optimize NC programs for complex 5-axis CNC machining operations.

  • Develop setup documentation, tooling data, and operator instructions.

  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing requirements.

  • Use CATIA V5 and Vericut to program, simulate, and validate machining processes.

  • Troubleshoot machining programs and support production activities.

  • Collaborate with engineering, planning, tooling, and shop-floor teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of NC programming experience in a production machining environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience programming 5-axis CNC machines for aerospace components.

  • Proficiency with CATIA V5 NC programming.

  • Experience using Vericut or similar NC simulation/verification software.

  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation.

  • Ability to create detailed setup documentation and operator instructions.

  • Ability to work 2nd shift as required.

  • Experience with aerospace manufacturing processes is preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) in compliance with ITAR requirements.
