• AM Shift 5:00am - 4:00pm (4/10 Shift)
• PM Shift 3:00pm - 2:00am (4/10 Shift)

Summary:

 The Line Service Technician is a customer service position that is responsible for supporting all ground operations for inbound and outbound aircraft, flight crews, and passengers and maintaining aircraft appearance. In addition, Line Service is a support position to other departments: Charter, Aircraft Maintenance and Facilities. Line Service Technicians require the following: good decision-making skills, the ability to follow company procedures, flexibility in a dynamic working environment, as well as possess good interpersonal skills. Your safety is important to us. Line Service Technicians work with fuels and other flammable and hazardous materials. As such, proper procedures must be followed. The airport area is a high noise environment so use of proper protection equipment is required. Operating vehicles and moving aircraft in close proximity of people, buildings and other aircraft requires extreme caution. Procedures must be followed for your personal safety as well as the safety of others and protection of company and customer property.

• Marshall and wingwalk aircraft
• Service aircraft lavatory and potable water service
• Load/unload baggage
• Clean and/or detail aircraft exterior and interior
• Tow aircraft upon successful completion of training
• De-Fuel and Fuel aircraft in accordance with ATA specifications 103
• Perform daily ramp checks to ensure aircraft are chocked, locked and secure
• Perform scheduled checklists/audits/inspections as assigned
• Assist pilots with aircraft Pre and Post flight services
• Operate, inspect & perform general maintenance of ground support equipment
• Assist other departments as required including facility cleaning and other tasks as assigned
• Provide basic security to people and property
• Direct people, drivers and flight crews on ramp area

Desired Skills:

• Aircraft towing
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License (restricted licenses are not valid for employment at JetWorx)
• Pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing, background checks and submit to random testing when required
• Complete NATA Safety First and other job related training
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, direct interface, over telephone, email and in writing
• Ability to make decisions with multiple objectives and implement in a safe, efficient manner
• Follow verbal and written directions; plan and complete assigned duties on a regular schedule; and maintain good working relationships with others
• Must be available to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, and overtime when required
• Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks including but not limited to: facility cleaning, vehicle washing, aircraft cleaning and vacuuming
