JOB TITLE: (P) Electrical Install Assembler - Free Housing Support
LOCATION: North Charleston, SC
PAY RATE: $38/hour

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Performs complex assembly operations on structural parts, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using manual and automated tools.

  • Route wire harnesses and install connectors per blueprints and Boeing specs

  • Splice, crimp, and terminate wires; build connectors and electronic components

  • Perform fiber optic inspection, light loss testing, and installation

  • Execute bonding and grounding (CRNs, jumpers, ground studs, resistance testing)

  • Conduct repairs and incorporate engineering changes

  • Operate mechanical lifts (JLGs, scissor lifts, etc.)

  • Apply sealants, coatings, adhesives, and special finishes

  • Work safely around energized systems and in noisy environments

  • Inspect work for quality, FOD, and ensure First Pass Quality (FPQ)

  • Adhere to FAA and Quality Management System standards

  • Read/interpret computer-based and printed work instructions

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in aerospace, manufacturing, or electrical assembly

  • 7+ years of experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints/specs in English.

  • Experience with aircraft electrical systems and wire bundle installations

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

  • Strong communication, work ethic, and urgency in task completion

  • Ability to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

  • 10+ years of related experience or equivalent education/experience

  • Aviation degree or prior aviation-specific experience strongly preferred
