JOB TITLE: Avionics Bench Tech
LOCATION: 
Fort Walton Beach, FL
PAY RATE: $35-43/hour

Job Details:

Summary: 

  • Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace vehicle systems by replacing or upgrading components.

  • Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul processes.

  • Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

  • Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components.

  • Document repairs, test results, modifications, and inspections for compliance.

  • Inspect components and verify repairs meet flight-worthiness requirements.

  • Provide training and guidance as needed.

  • Work under general direction.

Required Skills:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 4+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school + 2 years of experience, Associate’s degree + 2 years, or a Bachelor's degree).

  • Experience with aircraft wire assembly termination procedures.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

  • Soldering qualifications.
