JOB TITLE: Avionics Bench Tech
LOCATION: Fort Walton Beach, FL
PAY RATE: $35-43/hour

Summary:
-
Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace vehicle systems by replacing or upgrading components.
-
Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul processes.
-
Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
-
Troubleshoot and repair complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components.
-
Document repairs, test results, modifications, and inspections for compliance.

Inspect components and verify repairs meet flight-worthiness requirements.

Provide training and guidance as needed.

Work under general direction.
Required Skills:
-
High School Diploma or GED.
-
4+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school + 2 years of experience, Associate’s degree + 2 years, or a Bachelor's degree).

Experience with aircraft wire assembly termination procedures.
Desired Skills:
-
Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Soldering qualifications.
