JOB TITLE: AI Engineer - REMOTE
LOCATION: Remote, U.S.
PAY RATE: $135/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Design, develop, and deploy Agentic AI applications to automate data engineering tasks using the latest GenAI models

  • Translate complex AI concepts into clear, understandable lessons

  • Apply best practices in AI development, including prompt engineering and model selection

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Building AI agents using tandem and parallel models

  • Experience with Agentic frameworks (e.g., IBM Orchestrate – optional)

  • Knowledge of model selection based on project needs (e.g., Meta vs OpenAI)

  • Prompt engineering: clear prompt writing, input standardization for RAG

  • Expert in Python

  • Familiar with key libraries and tools:

    • Scikit-learn

    • TensorFlow

    • OpenAI

    • Pandas

    • Regex

    • Flask (optional)

    • Requests (optional)

  • Natural Language Processing (NLP): tokenization, chunking, vector datastores

  • Experience deploying scalable AI models

  • Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL (e.g., SAP HANA, DB2, SQL Server)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Highly motivated and self-driven

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
