JOB TITLE: RS Aircraft Interior Installation Technician I
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
PAY RATE: $24.50/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Works under close supervision to remove, install, and/or fabricate aircraft interiors following company operating procedures and quality standards.

• Safely perform removal, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interior components such as galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and vanity ledge fill panels.

• Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, FAA requirements, and internal quality standards.

• Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, log squawks, and complete required documentation.

• Follow standard operating procedures for tools and equipment including hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders, and brakes. Maintain and care for assigned shop equipment and tools.

• Comply with safety protocols, 5S standards, and housekeeping policies.

• Use personal protective equipment as required and proactively address unsafe conditions.

• May participate in flight testing in support of aircraft certification and final phase testing as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Applicable installation, fabrication, or related experience preferred; trade school experience a plus

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Ability to work any shift

• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 40 lbs

• Basic computer literacy required

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
