JOB TITLE: Lead VIP Interiors Mechanic
LOCATION: 
Moses Lake, WA
SALARY: $80,000/year

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Lead and perform aircraft interior installation, fabrication, and maintenance

  • Oversee and co-sign work of uncertified mechanics per company RSM procedures

  • Facilitate On-the-Job Training (OJT) through mentoring and work assignments

  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, customer requirements, and company policies

  • Use technical data to order parts and verify material suitability

  • Identify unsafe conditions and take corrective action immediately

  • Conduct crew meetings to communicate work progress, safety, and quality issues

  • Maintain clean and organized work area

  • Accurately record work hours and maintain regular attendance

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • This is a safety-sensitive position subject to DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing (pre-employment, random, post-accident, return-to-duty, and reasonable cause)

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 3 years recent, applicable installation, fabrication, or related experience

  • Experience in the aerospace industry preferred

  • Applicable Repairman, Airframe, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required

  • English fluency (read, write, verbal)

  • Mathematical problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, overtime, and travel as needed

  • Must be willing to work overtime

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

  • Reach overhead and work in stooping, kneeling, standing, or confined positions

  • Perform tasks requiring normal or corrected vision and full hand range of motion
