Job Description

JOB TITLE: Facilities Electrician Technician
LOCATION: Mesa, AZ (Onsite)
PAY RATE:
Up to $28/HR

  • Contract Length: 6+ months, with potential for direct hire

  • Schedule: Flexibility to work Mon-Fri (8hrs/day) or Mon-Thu (10hrs/day), based on business needs

Summary: 

  • Responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures, using hand and power tools.

  • Troubleshoot and repair systems, and assist with general maintenance tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC as directed.

  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices (e.g., voltmeters, oscilloscopes).

  • Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards and ensure compliance with codes.

  • Advise management on equipment safety and functionality.

  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring per job specs and local codes.

  • Follow blueprints and prepare sketches for electrical installations.

  • Use power tools, construction equipment, and testing devices.

  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including ground leads and power cables.

  • Perform repairs or replacements on wiring and fixtures using hand and power tools.

  • Work at heights and in physically demanding tasks.

  • Maintain records and logs of work performed.

  • Respond to emergency situations and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of related work experience

  • MUST BE US PERSONS

  • Certified general electrician

  • Ability to follow technical instructions and blueprints

  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills

  • Experience in carpentry, HVAC, and plumbing (preferred)

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights of 20+ feet

  • Basic computer skills preferred

  • Strong team player with flexibility and a fast learning ability
