JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structural Mechanic IV

PAY RATE: $32.18/hour

Summary: 

• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical instructions to lay out, fabricate, and install aircraft parts.

• Perform fitting, drilling, riveting, sealing, and finishing of assemblies; ensure defect-free work prior to inspection.

• Mentor and train team members; develop shop aids and resolve installation challenges.

• Align, assemble, and secure parts using jigs, clamps, and fixtures.

• Make repairs and rework per documentation (DMT, MRR, PCO).

• Maintain accurate logs/records and adhere to safety, 5S, and Lean standards.

• Plan workloads to meet schedule and goal hours; assist in overseeing projects.

Requirements

• Proficient in blueprint reading, close-tolerance work, and use of specialized tools.

• Skilled in using measuring devices to specified tolerances.

• Able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in confined spaces.

• Must be able to work any shift.

• Strong computer skills.

• Fluent in English (read, write, speak, understand).

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 6+ years structural assembly experience.

• Solumina and Smarteam experience preferred; Q-stamp preferred.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
