Summary: 

• We are seeking a highly skilled Structures Technician with extensive hands-on experience in structural assembly, modification, and repair for aircraft.

• This is a non-managerial role supporting complex production operations in an MRO or AOG environment.

• Perform complex production assembly on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using manual and automated tools.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical components.

• Conduct structural modifications and determine the functionality of basic electrical systems.

• Operate specialized aircraft tools (torque wrenches, cable tensiometers, micrometers, etc.).

• Execute advanced structures work (pull holes, match/back drilling, riveting, wire/tube installations).

• Interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and process specifications.

• Maintain required certifications, licenses, and permits for assigned work.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED with typically 10+ years of relevant experience, or a combination of vocational/associate education and hands-on work experience

   

• 10+ years of heavy structural experience on aircraft

• 5+ years in an MRO/Repair Station/AOG/Travel MODS environment

• 5+ years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Strong communication skills, work ethic, and urgency in completing tasks

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

   

Desired Skills:

• 10+ years of aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience

• 2+ years of composites experience

• 2+ years of Velocity and Radar systems experience
