Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Structures Technician with extensive hands-on experience in structural assembly, modification, and repair for aircraft.
This is a non-managerial role supporting complex production operations in an MRO or AOG environment.
Perform complex production assembly on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using manual and automated tools.
Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical components.
Conduct structural modifications and determine the functionality of basic electrical systems.
Operate specialized aircraft tools (torque wrenches, cable tensiometers, micrometers, etc.).
Execute advanced structures work (pull holes, match/back drilling, riveting, wire/tube installations).
Interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and process specifications.
Maintain required certifications, licenses, and permits for assigned work.
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED with typically 10+ years of relevant experience, or a combination of vocational/associate education and hands-on work experience
10+ years of heavy structural experience on aircraft
5+ years in an MRO/Repair Station/AOG/Travel MODS environment
5+ years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong communication skills, work ethic, and urgency in completing tasks
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
10+ years of aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience
2+ years of composites experience
2+ years of Velocity and Radar systems experience
