Summary: 

• Note: Candidates with automotive assembly backgrounds will not be considered.

• This role requires experience in aerospace or high-precision mechanical/electro-mechanical manufacturing environments.

• Performs a variety of manufacturing tasks including machine set-up, machining, sheet metal fabrication, extrusion, tube bending, composite lay-up, and assembly.

• Responsible for assembling precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components, repairing power plants and drive trains, soldering electronic and avionics products, and installing wire harnesses.

• Prepares test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices for testing purposes.

• Applies organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance.

• Works on articles following established drawings and requirements.

• Variable shifts; ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as needed.

• Completion of all screening requirements is mandatory.

• Dress code: Teamwear provided; no open-toed shoes.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED with 1+ years' related experience or equivalent combination.

• Aircraft manufacturing experience

• Strong communication skills, work ethic, and sense of urgency

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Aircraft fabrication experience

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
