Job Description

Experience doing Stability and Control Analysis for aircraft
Experience with flight and wind tunnel test monitoring and data reduction to support stability and control analysis and certification efforts
Experience developing aerodynamic databases needed for Stability and Control
Experience developing requirements for low and high-speed wind tunnel tests
Experience providing hinge moment data based on CFD and wind tunnel tests
Experience providing input for control surface sizing, deflection angles, and rates
Experience supporting stability and control flight testing
BS in Aeronautics or Aerospace Engineering with more than 6 years of experience (or MS in engineering plus 4 years of experience)
Experience with MATLAB/SIMULINK and vortex-lattice tools
Prior experience performing trade studies related to stability and control including using numerical tools as well as wind tunnel data
Experience in the creation of aerodynamic stability and control databases
Experience with flight and wind tunnel test monitoring and data reduction to support stability and control analysis and certification efforts
