JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer L4

PAY RATE: $88/hour

Summary: 

  • Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify complex system-of-systems solutions

  • Evaluate customer and operational needs; define and coordinate system performance requirements

  • Integrate technical parameters and ensure compatibility across all physical, functional, and program interfaces

  • Conduct analyses to optimize system architecture and lifecycle factors (affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, security, and regulatory compliance)

  • Develop and improve requirements management processes, tools, and assessments

  • Manage risk, issues, opportunities, and technology readiness

  • Resolve cross-functional technical issues

Requirements:

  • Must be clearable to Secret (post-start).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry from an accredited program.

  • 10+ years of engineering experience across multiple domains.

  • 3–5 years of experience in several relevant disciplines, such as:

    • Electrical/Mechanical design

    • Software/Firmware design and testing

    • Test Engineering (test set development, HIL/SIL experience)

    • Manufacturing/Process Engineering

  • 3+ years of Systems Engineering experience.

  • Hands-on experience taking a program/product from design to fielding, including requirements development, design criteria, verification, and validation test cases/plans.

  • INCOSE SEP certification or graduate-level systems training.

  • Familiarity with Defense Acquisition University System Engineering principles.

  • Experience with digital engineering concepts (MBSE) and open systems (WOSA, FACE, etc.).

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proposal development experience, including CONOPS and technical solution development.

  • Knowledge of PMP or EVM concepts.
