JOB TITLE: Systems Design & Integration Specialist 3
LOCATION: Herndon, VA
PAY RATE: $76/hour

Summary: 

• Support complex, mission-critical AV systems for proprietary programs.

• Focus on the design, integration, installation, and support of AV solutions for government and commercial customers operating in high-security environments.

• Identify, evaluate, and document AV system requirements

• Assist with design, build, testing, and deployment of AV components

• Translate customer needs into system architecture and technical requirements

• Integrate hardware/software and perform upgrades in support of operational networks

• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate system readiness, usability, and performance

• Resolve complex AV and system-level issues

• Ensure compliance with technical and architectural standards

Requirements:

• Must have an active Top Secret Clearance

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

• Typically 5+ years’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master’s + 3 years, 9+ years total experience, etc.)

• Active Counterintelligence Polygraph (CIP); must obtain Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) post-start

• 3+ years of experience with large-scale AV system setup and support

• 3+ years of AV system integration, design, and implementation

• 3+ years of experience communicating technical subjects to customers

• CTS or CTS-I certification

• Proficiency in CAD/Visio for creating signal flow diagrams and system documentation

• Experience with control systems (e.g., Cisco Hyperflex, Crestron, Thinklogical)

• Familiarity with audio DSPs (e.g., Biamp, QSC)

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
