JOB TITLE: Quality Assurance Supplier
LOCATION: Kinston, NC
PAY RATE: Up to $44.38/hour

Job Details:

• Contract Length: 6-12 months (with potential extension)

  Shift: Primarily 1st shift, with flexibility required to communicate with suppliers across time zones.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Conduct audits and inspections to verify supplier compliance with quality systems and contractual requirements.

• Monitor supplier quality performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Prepare and maintain quality procedures in alignment with customer and government standards.

• Serve as the primary point of contact with suppliers on quality matters.

• Provide technical expertise and coaching on quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

• Support supplier performance improvement initiatives and process development.

• Ensure documentation of approved Quality Systems by suppliers.

• Represent the company in supplier quality meetings and audits.

• Travel to supplier locations as needed for on-site evaluations.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in Supply Chain Management (SCM) or Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA), with at least 5 years specifically in Supplier Quality.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Experience working directly with suppliers on quality approvals and issue resolution.

• Strong knowledge of quality assurance practices and root cause analysis techniques.

• Ability to handle quality issues professionally and drive effective resolutions.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
