JOB TITLE: Engine Shop Manager - Aerospace Management & Maintenance Required

LOCATION: Kansas City, MO

SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $110,000 per year.

Summary: 

  • Lead a team at the maintenance facility location in Kansas City, MO.

  • Looking for a manager that can fit in quickly, has a positive attitude, and has general aviation experience working on Commercial aircraft Engines (TRENT 700, TRENT 800, PW4000, PW2000, CFM56-3, 5, & 7, CF6-50, CF6-80, CF34, ECT.).

  • This position works as an aircraft engine maintenance manager performing and supervising inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on commercial aircraft engines.

  • The successful candidate will possess the appropriate personality to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and quality.

  • Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft engine maintenance, and repair in accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturer’s instructions, and company policies.

  • Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entries.

  • Supervise and manage a team of technicians.

  • Follow all policies and procedures.

  • Keep a clean and orderly work environment.

  • Perform job duties in a safe manner.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification

  • 5 or more years of aircraft engine maintenance experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations airworthiness requirements.

  • Possess adequate tools.

  • Successful background check and drug screening
