Job Description

JOB TITLE: Electronics RF Test Technician – 2nd Shift 
LOCATION: Oldsmar, FL
PAY RATE: Up to $28/hour

Job Details:

  • Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Summary: 

  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of electronic assemblies and units, ensuring compliance with procedures, standards, and specifications.

  • Support production and engineering teams in evaluating and improving products.

  • Set up and conduct tests on electronic assemblies per established methods and specifications.

  • Assemble and adjust units for production electronic equipment.

  • Calibrate and correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing components.

  • Use hand tools, power tools, and testing devices such as Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Frequency Standards, Signal Generators, and RF Power Meters.

  • Analyze test results, suggest modifications, and assist engineers in developing test procedures.

  • Troubleshoot to the component level using schematic diagrams on analog, digital, and RF circuits.

  • Ensure product quality by following statistical process controls or other quality procedures.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance actions using Microsoft Suite and data collection programs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in electronic assembly and component-level troubleshooting of solid-state, digital, and RF circuits

  • Experience with RF testing, radar systems, flying probe testing, and high-power test environments

  • Skilled in using test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, and RF power meters

  • Proficient in interpreting schematics to diagnose analog and digital circuit failures

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and data entry tools for documenting maintenance and test results

  • Technical training equivalent to an Associate Degree or demonstrated relevant skills

  • Must pass a medical exam per supplier guidelines

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR)

  • Must be able to read and write English
