Qualifying Questions:
Summary:
Performs a wide range of assembly tasks—both repetitive and non-repetitive—on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
Follows diagrams and drawings, creates initial layouts, and uses hand/power tools, jigs, and saws.
Conducts continuity checks, quality inspections, and may disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble experimental or prototype units under simulated conditions.
Perform mechanical and electronic assembly of components and subassemblies
Read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams
Use hand and power tools, jigs, and saws for assembly tasks
Conduct in-process and final continuity checks
Perform quality inspections in line with specifications
Disassemble, modify, and reassemble prototype assemblies
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Mechanical assembly experience
Cable harness assembly
IPC-WHMA-A-620 certification or experience
Staking, stripping, and crimping wires
Familiarity with prototype testing and modifications
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and write in English
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
