Job Description

JOB TITLE: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
LOCATION: 
Chelmsford, MA
PAY RATE: $24/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Schedule: Full-Time, Tuesday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Day Shift)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and final products using detailed work instructions and drawings

  • Operate microscopes, measuring tools, and electronic test equipment to ensure quality standards

  • Read and interpret technical documentation and assembly process instructions

  • Handle components ranging in size from micro to large, often using magnification

  • Use hand tools (tweezers, rulers, cutters) and pneumatic tools (torque drivers, screwdrivers)

  • Accurately document production data and maintain proper records

  • Collaborate with team members to support throughput and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • This is a clearance role. Candidates must be eligible to begin the interim clearance process at the time of offer

     

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Basic computer skills (timekeeping, task tracking, and navigation of digital instructions)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions

  • Familiarity with ESD procedures and test equipment

  • Ability to learn and work to J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 standards

  • Prior experience in electrical or microelectronics assembly preferred

  • Proven reliability, punctuality, and a strong desire to learn and grow

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
