JOB TITLE:  Aerospace Engineer Level 4

PAY RATE: $87.40 per hour

Summary: 

• Leads major engineering projects or conducts extensive research to support product development and production.

• Resolves complex engineering issues using advanced methods and techniques.

• Serves as a recognized authority, consulted by peers and colleagues.

• Anticipates and creatively resolves complex problems, setting standards for engineering activities.

• Balances technical, cost, and schedule considerations in problem-solving.

• Works independently, with long-term objectives reviewed for overall results.

• Makes authoritative decisions and recommendations on technical matters.

• Stays current on industry developments to recommend innovations.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Requires 10 years of experience in a specific technical discipline or 15 years of broad engineering experience with a bachelor's degree.

• Advanced degrees may provide up to 2 years of credit for a master's and 4 years for a PhD.

• Technical skills required for this role are defined by each discipline.
