Job Description

JOB TITLE: Cable Harness Assembly - 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: Up to $25/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Shift: Mon-Thurs, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM | OT available weekends | Must remain on 2nd shift

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Assemble electronic/mechanical assemblies and subassemblies (modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, cables).

  • Work from diagrams, drawings, and prints; perform initial layouts.

  • Use hand and power tools, jigs, and saws.

  • Perform continuity checks and quality inspections on work in process and completed assemblies.

  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test prototype or experimental assemblies.

  • Follow process instructions accurately and maintain compliance with specifications.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • High mechanical aptitude; hobbies like soldering or model building are a plus.

  • IPC 610/620 and IPC-WHMA-A-620 knowledge.

  • Experience with mechanical assembly, cable harnesses, and soldering.

  • Ability to strip, crimp, and assemble copper and coax wires.

  • Wire harness and blueprint reading.

  • Basic computer skills and strong written communication.

  • Ability to read and write English.

  • Must pass a medical exam.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
