JOB TITLE: Inspector - Circuit Boards (1st Shift)

Job Details:
Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM EST; OT may be required on weekends

Summary:
Perform visual inspection of in-process and completed cable assemblies using various measuring devices.
Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units based on IPC-A-620 standards and customer specifications.
Work from blueprints, diagrams, micrometers, scales, fixtures, and inspection instructions.
Monitor quality using statistical process control and other procedures.
Collaborate with assemblers, engineers, and management to resolve quality issues.
Ability to identify non-conformances and ensure compliance with IPC-A-620.
Perform assembly tasks related to inspection areas when needed.
Proficient in reading engineering drawings, parts lists, and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Use Personal Computers and applications for quality monitoring and reporting.
Requirements:
Strong background in cable inspection within a manufacturing environment
Willing and able to perform assembly tasks related to inspection areas when needed
Must have experience inspecting soldered and crimped cables per IPC-A-620 standards
Previous inspection experience required
Detail-oriented and skilled in reading drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision controls, reference documents, and work instructions
Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to interface effectively with assemblers, technicians, engineers, customers, and management to resolve quality issues
Proficient with personal computers
No degree required
Must pass a medical screening exam as outlined in the supplier guide
