JOB TITLE: Buyer - Aerospace
LOCATION: Bothell, WA
PAY RATE: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

12-month contract with opportunities for extension

Summary:
-
Procure, track, and expedite goods and services (raw materials, equipment, parts, and supplies).
-
Schedule and track material deliveries based on aircraft modification and maintenance schedules.
-
Liaise with vendors to obtain product details, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
-
Prepare purchase orders and bid requests.
-
Negotiate and manage agreements with suppliers within scope of authority.
-
Estimate values based on market knowledge and analyze price proposals to determine reasonable pricing.
-
Maintain procurement records (costs, delivery, quality, performance, and inventories).
-
Address defective goods or services and resolve contract-related issues.
-
Approve invoices and expedite delivery of goods.
Required Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Aerospace background and VIP aircraft interiors experience preferred.
-
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and material specifications.
-
Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
-
Proficient in MS Office, with intermediate Excel skills.
-
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and percentages.
-
Ability to travel and work outside core business hours as required.
