JOB TITLE: Assembly Mechanics
LOCATION: Renton, WA
PAY RATE: Up to $46/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Assemble and install structural and system components per engineering documentation

• Perform functional testing and verify assemblies meet fit, form, and function requirements

• Obtain information from drawings, charts, work instructions, verbal/electronic communication

• Use shop math and precision measuring/testing instruments to complete assignments

• Utilize tools and jigs to build sub-assemblies and final assemblies

• Verify work against specifications and report discrepancies per procedures

• Ensure tools and equipment are certified and maintained properly

• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks (e.g., changing filters, maintaining coolant/lubrication levels)

• Move parts and assemblies within the work area using designated equipment

• Meet production schedules and support continuous workflow

• Train and support team members across classification levels

• Cross-train in inspection functions and become SIA qualified as needed

Requirements: 

• Must be able to work any shift 

• Must be eligible for rehire at Boeing

• Require 5+ years of Sheet metal experience in Aerospace Industry

• Position is on-site in Renton, WA

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
