JOB TITLE: Assembler - Cable Harness - 2nd Shift

Summary: 

• Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

• Works from diagrams, drawings, and written instructions to complete assemblies.

• Responsibilities include making initial layouts, using hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws, and performing continuity checks on in-process and completed work.

• May conduct quality inspections on the production line in accordance with established quality specifications.

• Could also be required to disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies per specifications and under simulated conditions.

Requirements:

• Blueprint reading

• Makes wire harness and cable layouts from prints

• Cable Harness Assembly

• IPC-WHMA-A-620

• Use of hand, jigs, and saws and/or power tools

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
