Summary:
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures with minimal supervision.
Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications independently.
Ensure compliance with FAA and internal inspection/documentation requirements, completing paperwork accurately and on time.
Maintain high quality standards in all work performed.
Safeguard and properly store customer property and aircraft components.
Operate ground support equipment following standard procedures.
Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
Provide training to less experienced technicians.
Collect and dispose of waste materials properly, adhering to 6S and Lean Initiatives.
Use company tools and equipment properly, maintaining safety standards.
Use material tracking systems for parts demand, squawks, and labor sign-offs.
May participate in flight tests during aircraft certification and final phase testing.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED required.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate
2 years of aviation maintenance experience, or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience including 2 years on mid/large size aircraft.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, and company policies.
Adhere to safety rules, using protective equipment as needed.
