JOB TITLE: Aircraft Technician II

Summary: 

• Receive and understand work assignments.

• Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications.

• Ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection/documentation requirements.

• Complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and paperwork accurately and timely.

• Assist with shift turnovers.

• Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.

• Properly tag and store customer property and equipment.

• Operate ground support equipment following standard operating procedures.

• Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.

• Train less experienced technicians.

• Protect and maintain customer property.

• Collect and dispose of waste materials properly.

• Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to maintain clean and organized work areas.

• Implement and apply continuous improvement processes.

• Properly use and maintain company tools and equipment.

• Comply with safety rules and address unsafe conditions.

• Use the material tracking system for parts demand, tracking squawks, and labor charges.

• Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and 2 years of aviation maintenance experience or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 2 years working on mid/large-size aircraft required.

• Valid Driver’s License required.

• Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures.
