Summary:
Receive and understand work assignments.
Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications.
Ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection/documentation requirements.
Complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and paperwork accurately and timely.
Assist with shift turnovers.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
Properly tag and store customer property and equipment.
Operate ground support equipment following standard operating procedures.
Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
Train less experienced technicians.
Protect and maintain customer property.
Collect and dispose of waste materials properly.
Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to maintain clean and organized work areas.
Implement and apply continuous improvement processes.
Properly use and maintain company tools and equipment.
Comply with safety rules and address unsafe conditions.
Use the material tracking system for parts demand, tracking squawks, and labor charges.
Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED required.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and 2 years of aviation maintenance experience or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 2 years working on mid/large-size aircraft required.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures.
