Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:
Perform structural assembly operations in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with company specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.
Assemble and fit parts, perform drilling, riveting, and sheet metal fabrication/installation on aircraft.
Use tools such as riveting guns, pneumatic drills, and countersinks; safely remove fasteners without damaging structures.
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and operation sheets to determine assembly requirements.
Inspect assemblies to ensure defect-free work before final inspection.
Align and assemble parts using jigs, clamps, and fixtures; shape complex configurations to blueprint specifications.
Perform repairs and rework as needed per Discrepant Material Tags (DMTs), Material Review Requests (MRRs), and Production Change Orders (PCOs).
Maintain accurate logs and records; ensure a clean and organized workspace while supporting the 5S Program and adhering to safety regulations.
Handle and dispose of waste materials properly.
Accurately record daily job activities and coordinate tasks during shift changes.
Maintain shop equipment and participate in Lean initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years of structural assembly experience.
Familiarity with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and basic shop math.
Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and aptitude for hands-on work.
Experience working with composite resins and materials.
Ability to work any shift, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
