JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structural Mechanic II
LOCATION: Tulsa, OK
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Summary: 

  • Perform structural assembly operations in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with company specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.

  • Assemble and fit parts, perform drilling, riveting, and sheet metal fabrication/installation on aircraft.

  • Use tools such as riveting guns, pneumatic drills, and countersinks; safely remove fasteners without damaging structures.

  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and operation sheets to determine assembly requirements.

  • Inspect assemblies to ensure defect-free work before final inspection.

  • Align and assemble parts using jigs, clamps, and fixtures; shape complex configurations to blueprint specifications.

  • Perform repairs and rework as needed per Discrepant Material Tags (DMTs), Material Review Requests (MRRs), and Production Change Orders (PCOs).

  • Maintain accurate logs and records; ensure a clean and organized workspace while supporting the 5S Program and adhering to safety regulations.

  • Handle and dispose of waste materials properly.

  • Accurately record daily job activities and coordinate tasks during shift changes.

  • Maintain shop equipment and participate in Lean initiatives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 2+ years of structural assembly experience.

  • Familiarity with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and basic shop math.

  • Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and aptitude for hands-on work.

  • Experience working with composite resins and materials.

  • Ability to work any shift, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
