Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Interior Installation Technician I 
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $23.31/hour

Job Details:

  • Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary: 

  • Removes, installs, and fabricates aircraft interiors following company procedures and quality standards.
  • Safely remove, install, or fabricate aircraft interiors, including galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and vanity panels.

  • Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, Repair Station procedures, and quality standards.

  • Complete tasks per work order instructions and specifications.

  • Use the material tracking system for parts requests, squawk tracking, and paperwork sign-offs.

  • Operate tools such as hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders, and brakes according to procedures.

  • Maintain and properly care for shop equipment and tools.

  • Follow safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies; use personal protective equipment as required.

  • Identify and address unsafe conditions to protect people and property.

  • Support aircraft certification and testing, including flight tests if needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Trade school or experience in installation, fabrication, or related fields preferred.

  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

  • Able to work any shift.

  • Capable of climbing ladders and stairs, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 40 pounds.

  • Must be computer literate.
