Job Description

JOB TITLE: Cabinet Finisher II
LOCATION: Savannah, GA

PAY RATE: $25.65/hour 

We are a national staffing firm partnering with top-tier aerospace companies, and we are seeking first-class employees to join our clients’ teams!

  • Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary: 

  • Prepares and applies finishes to aircraft furniture, ensuring high-quality results aligned with specifications and engineering designs.

  • The role involves finishing, repairing, and polishing furniture using various tools and materials while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 2+ years of wood finishing experience.

  • Basic knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings.

  • Proficient in using sanding tools, spray equipment, adhesives, and solvents.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in confined spaces or any shift.

  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Basic computer literacy.

  • MUST BE US PERSONS

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in the aerospace industry.

  • Familiarity with inspection and process specifications.

  • Knowledge of Lean Six-Sigma and process improvement techniques.

  • Attention to detail and ability to perform high-quality repairs and finishing tasks.
